"Joining Kuk Sool has been one of the best experiences of my life. The physical workout and training have
improved my balance, stamina and overall well-being. The instructors are very positive with everyone
and try to instill the same in everyone else. The
family-oriented setting is just that. It has been great for
my kids and I. We are able to spend time doing it
together."

"I am a mother of a 5 year old boy named Patrick, who was diagnosed with ADHD at a very young age.  He
has had problems focusing, sitting still, blurting out thoughts, and keeping his hands to himself. His pre-
school director approached me with the problems she was having with him when he was 4 and, of-course,
suggested medication. I refused. I made changes to our home environment, including less visits away from
home (the differences in rules at family member’s homes were very difficult for him to process), less
“free” time, much more structure, no red dye in anything he eats or drinks and all natural foods.  He is in
Kindergarten now and after my first parent teacher conference I realized that my changes didn’t make as
big a difference as I had hoped.  He was still having problems and I still refused to medicate my child.  I
decided to
enroll him in Kuk Sool Won Martial Arts and immediately saw a difference.  Patrick became
much
more attentive.  He followed instructions much better.  He was more respectful and much less
frustrated
with everyday activities. He was much more proud of his accomplishments which in turn made
him strive to do even better. His Kindergarten teacher asked me if I had put him on Ritalin, because the
change was so drastic, and so quick.  I am truly grateful for this program and am excited to see where it
will take him."

"I have always felt like Kuk Sool Won is a big family. I love the way Sa Bum Nim Justin and Jo Kyo Nim
Tiffany
really care about not only me and my children, but each and every student. You can feel the love
they have for Kuk Sool."

"Kuk Sool Won is an amazing place. We started our kids in Martial Arts as a new hobby, but it has become
so much more. In the last 2+ years our kids have learned so much as far as the forms and techniques to even
learning bits of the Korean language. Most of all I love that Kuk Sool is like an
extended family from the
instructors to the other parents and children. I am so glad we chose to put our children into Kuk Sool Won
martial arts."

"I love Kuk Sool Won. I have learned so much stuff there. Sometimes it is difficult to remember
everything but there is
always somebody there to help. The most fun is that we get to do martial arts and
so much other stuff too. We have Kids Night Out which is so cool and spirit week. I have made so many
friends there and
they are all awesome.

"My son looks up to both Tiffany and Justin and took what they said to heart. I noticed him really trying to
adjust his attitude at home, with much success. In speaking to his teacher when the next report card came
out, she stated that he had worked very hard to make sure his assignments were not only done but that he
handed it in too. She stated that KSW was a
huge motivator for him as she watched him bring all of his
grades up.

Tiffany and Justin state that the KSW center is like
one big "family." This is absolutely true. I am not the
type of parent who relies on others to parent my children. However, I do believe that it does "take a village
to raise a child" and with the right type of support, parents will be more successful in raising respectful,
productive, selfless adults.

While I see
big positive changes in my son with regards to his skill level in KSW; I also see a more self-
controlled, respectful, productive young man
. Thank you Tiffany and Justin for making my job as a parent
just a little bit easier.
You guys are truly a great support system."
~ Christina Tranfaglia, Probation Officer / Parent of Five

"Once Tiffany started working with my son I started to see a change in him...he started to open up, in
addition; he listened to what she said and began learning Kuk Sool Won. My son has grown in
self-confidence
and self-discipline
and is no longer scared to try new things such as different sports. He gets along with
other kids instead of fighting with them. I really am grateful that Kuk Sool Won helped my son develop into
his personality. Also, I would like to thank Tiffany and Justin for working with Keeshawn and not giving up on
him.
